![]() ![]() Some pages completely converted all tables to text/text boxes and lost all of their text, other pages have a mix of perfect tables with text and blank faux tables. ![]() The problem: In the final PDF, the text in the "faux tables" disappeared the text in the tables that converted as tables converted perfectly. The formatting (shading header rows, bold and centered header row text) matches the original version (that has tables on nearly all pages). The converted doc changed some of the tables to text that is formatted to look like a table ("faux table") and placed that text in text boxes. The orig doc has 20 sections, the converted one has 112 sections. I converted the doc to PDF using PDFMaker & within Acrobat Pro XI converted it back to DOCX (File > Save as Other > Word > Word Document). The original doc is split into sections & each section has 1+ tables per page. ![]() Boss wants to modify the content & end up with PDF. Using Acrobat XI Pro & Word 2010 on Windows 7, have a DOCX fillable form (long job application ) that was pwd protected so user could only fill in form fields. I'm baffled and would greatly appreciate any thoughts on what is happening. Converted locked doc to PDF, back to DOCX to unlock & back to PDF, lost some text ![]()
